Retiring from Harrods

“After 25 years as Chairman of Harrods, I have decided to retire and to spend more time with my children and grandchildren.

“I have made Harrods into a unique luxury brand that is recognised all over the world, and in reaching my decision to retire, I wanted to be sure that the legacy and traditions I built up in Harrods would be continued.

"The team I have built will be encouraged by new owners to develop the foundations I have laid and support the long-term successful growth of Harrods. “
