Please accept my congratulations on your outstanding achievement in rebuilding Harrods to be the most pre-eminent store in the world. Your commitment, energy, vision and single minded devotion to the redevelopment of Harrods will always be legendary and acclaimed worldwide.

On a personal note, I thank you for the support you have given to both Theirry Mulger and Clarins.

I have two abiding memories:

• Your excellent presentation at our Mugler event - and then you offered Vera Strubi the famous blue tablets.
• And your insistence I hit my target when working on MD day on counter.

It is a privilege to supply Harrods and I count myself fortunate to have witnessed all you have done for the store.
